Experiences of trauma and loss can deeply affect one’s self-esteem, self-confidence, and outlook on the future.  Coping with a critical illness or disability can be overwhelming.

I use a gentle, empathic approach to help people to express their feelings about painful experiences and develop higher self-esteem.  I will walk beside you on your own unique journey of healing . . . and support your efforts to reach your true potential and have a more fulfilling life.

As a holistic psychotherapist, I use evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, as well as complementary approaches, such as art therapy, mindfulness, guided imagery, mind-body healing, and energy psychology.  I tailor my approach to the unique needs of the individual or family.

Is it too difficult for you to travel to a therapist’s office?  I can provide therapy sessions by phone or online.

On a case-by-case basis, I can also provide in-home psychotherapy for families affected by critical illness or disabilities in several areas of Manhattan, including the Upper East Side and Greenwich Village.
